When knitted or crocheted on the larger needle sizes, a light and airy piece will be made. The sample is made on a 4,5mm needle and has a 16 stitch gauge. I've also worked up swatches on 4mm (17 stitch gauge) and 3,5mm (18 stitch gauge). Gauge is very personal and dependent on if you're a tight or loose knitter or crocheter. My supplier their stitch gauge is 23,5 stitch on 3mm and 21 stitch on 4mm.
