When creating the color palette of this collection, I knew I wanted to add a deep red to the lineup. This cherry red reminds me of a feeling of cozyness with richness of a home full of well loved pieces and maybe some heirlooms. And that is how this name came to be.
Last year on our Cotswolds roadtrip we stayed at the loveliest places and one things they all had on common is that the homes had a collection of older pieces. A beautiful old painting, well loved floral chairs, a beautiful dressoir and so much more. We started thinking about the stories behind those pieces. You know I’m a thrift fan, so I needed to name a color to this special feeling.
Spoiler, this color is extremely hard to get right on picture. I probably spent multiple hours by now, editing and starting over. So I’m going to warn you, keep an open mind when ordering this color. I’ll show this color a few more times in my Instagram stories in different lighting so you’ll get a good feeling of what it looks like in real life.
The Meet me in the Cotswolds collection is open for pre order from Tuesday October 13th until Sunday October 25th. Processing time will be determined after the collection closes but keep a minimum of 8 weeks in mind from Sunday October 25th.
Tijdens het verfproces doe ik mijn uiterste best om alle strengen zo gelijk mogelijk te maken, maar aangezien dit een handgemaakt product is, betekent dit ook dat elke streng uniek is.
Om de kleur zo nauwkeurig mogelijk te zien, zet u de helderheid van uw scherm hoger. Houd er rekening mee dat verschillende schermen of apparaten de garenkleuren iets anders kunnen weergeven.
Door de aard van handgeverfd garen kunnen sommige van deze garens tijdens de eerste wasbeurt uitlopen. Zorg ervoor dat u de projecten afzonderlijk met de hand wast in koud water.
