When I started thinking about what kind of colors I wanted to include in this collection I immediately got the idea to make a color for wellies, short for Wellington boots (regenlaarzen for the Dutchies). Because what more fitting is it, to have a good pair of rubber boots for those muddy, rainy, but beautiful Cotswolds walks.
And that is how wellies came to be. As you know, greens are hard to capture on camera but we came pretty dang close. Wellies is a ever so slightly warm toned green that almost has a hint of brown underneath. It is a saturated color without feeling too overpowering and I think it’ll suit a lot of people.
I’ll make sure to show wellies, among the other colors of the collection, a few more times on my Instagram to show it in different lighting so you can get a good feel of what the color looks like in real life. Color is always hard to capture and can change vastly depending on the light and surroundings the pictures are taken in. Something that is always good to keep in mind
The Meet me in the Cotswolds collection is open for pre order from Tuesday October 13th until Sunday October 25th. Processing time will be determined after the collection closes but keep a minimum of 8 weeks in mind from Sunday October 25th.
Tijdens het verfproces doe ik mijn uiterste best om alle strengen zo gelijk mogelijk te maken, maar aangezien dit een handgemaakt product is, betekent dit ook dat elke streng uniek is.
Om de kleur zo nauwkeurig mogelijk te zien, zet u de helderheid van uw scherm hoger. Houd er rekening mee dat verschillende schermen of apparaten de garenkleuren iets anders kunnen weergeven.
Door de aard van handgeverfd garen kunnen sommige van deze garens tijdens de eerste wasbeurt uitlopen. Zorg ervoor dat u de projecten afzonderlijk met de hand wast in koud water.
