Joining of hands
If you have seen the second to last episode of bridgerton season three, you absolutely know why I couldn’t skip this moment for a colorway 💍. Scroll down for more info since it contains spoilers.
This color was hard to photograph. It looks more peachy on Flowy Fingering on all of the bases and the most light cool pink on Heavenly Alpaca and Soothing Suri and Mystical Mohair. So keep an open mind while ordering this color. What is really fun is that it sometimes has the teeniest of tiniest speckles because of the way the dye takes. This doesn’t really show in the knitted piece, mostly in the skein.
SPOILERS AHEAD: Okay who also (almost) cried during the Penelope and Colin wedding scene ✋ I immediately knew I needed to create a color for this moment. I went back and forth between making a variegated color with a mix of everything from the dress to the flowers you see in this scene but I decided to tone it down and keep it simple. I watched some videos about the choice of this pink and more simple wedding dress and I loved the reasoning behind it. One of them being that Penelope is now fully out as herself as lady Whistledown and she doesn’t need a complicated dress. They wanted to show her body and her power just as who she is. And I love that reasoning ❤️

Good to know
During the dye process, I try my hardest to make all the skeins as similar as possible but since this is a handmade product this also means that every skein is one of a kind.
To see the color as accurately as possible, please turn your screen brightness up. Keep in mind that different screens or devices can show the yarn colors slightly differently.
To the nature of hand-dyed yarn, some of these yarns can bleed during their first wash. Make sure to hand wash the projects individually in cold water.
