🎨 This color is based on one of Colin’s outfits that you can see him wear a few time this season. I really wanted to create a soft mix of the blues you see in the vest he wears. There are also some super subtle speckles in the color that only show up every now and then.
SPOILERS AHEAD: Okay now let’s talk about the moment that inspired this color. In the 2ed episode Colin starts his lessons with Penelope in Bridgerton house, however they almost get caught and Colin tells Penelope to go to his study. After she picks up his journal and he finds her reading it, he takes the book from her but drops a candle and injures himself on the glass. Penelope helps him and I feel like this was the moment Colin feels the spark between them. This moment felt so crucial to me that it became one of the first colors I created for the collection.

During the dye process, I try my hardest to make all the skeins as similar as possible but since this is a handmade product this also means that every skein is one of a kind.

To the nature of hand-dyed yarn, some of these yarns can bleed during their first wash. Make sure to hand wash the projects individually in cold water.
